The Recruitment Process

How it works

Apply Online

Submit your application form with details of your skills, experience, and motivation for working with young people.

Interview & Values Assessment

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview. We focus on your values, attitudes, and commitment to safeguarding as much as your qualifications and experience.

Pre-Employment Checks

Successful candidates will complete safer recruitment checks, including enhanced DBS disclosure, identity verification, employment history, reference checks, and right-to-work confirmation, in line with Ofsted guidance.

Induction & Training

Once cleared, you’ll join our structured induction programme. This includes safeguarding training, practical training, policies and shadow shifts, ensuring you’re fully prepared before working independently.
